X___
For those unsuspecting folks who like me are dropping files in a front panel-wide hidden path control to speed up file loading, pay attention to this nasty bug: #1811630 described at https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/documentation/bugs/22/labview-2021-sp1-known-issues.html LabVIEW Appends Extraneous NULL Character to Path When You Drag and Drop a File to a Path Control When you drag a file from the File Explorer to a Path control or constant, the value of the path will have an extraneous NULL character at the end. Workaround: Manually delete the extra character after completing the drag and drop. It just bit me... crossrulz
Well, that explains what I encountered today as well. I did notice an extra character. I didn't investigate beyond that. Hopefully this will be fixed quickly in a patch. Quote Link to comment

X___
Any update on this bug? I can't figure how to check the status on the Emulsion website. Quote Link to comment
mhenz
It was fixed a view days later (f1 or f2 patch). I actually use the f2 patch (version 21.0.1.f2). edit: bug was in 21.0.1.f1 and fixed in 21.0.1.f2 Edited November 27, 2023 by mhenz 2 Quote Link to comment
