jpdrolet
I want a LabVIEW interface for this! <embed style="width:400px; height:326px;" id="VideoPlayback" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=6379146923853181774&hl=en"> </embed> Quote Link to comment
Mike Ashe
I have pictured something like this in my head for doing LabVIEW for a long time. Drawing on a touch screen just made sense, but the touch screens all lacked the functionality. This was cool. I can't wait to see LabVIEW development using this. Quote Link to comment

Michael Aivaliotis
Yes, I can see the LV angle but I think NI has to make some mods to the exisitng LV. For example in order to wire up an Icon you either need very pointy fingers or a zoom feature to blow up the icon image. Quote Link to comment
colinchristofferson
How very Minority Report... I saw this video a while back and got really amped. I consider myself fairly pessimistic regarding "novelty inventions" - but its plain to see the advantages of something like this. If nothing else, I just wanna do some photoshop on it. Grampa_of_Oliva_n_Eden
It would be very handy for wiring through those shift registers when we add new cases. I'm still working on the eye-trcker. Vision system watches my eyes and moves mouse to where I am looking. Left blink = left mouse, etc. (Don't hold yur breath) Ben Quote Link to comment

NI could provide real, platform independent pattern subsets for radiation and evasion patterns in combat situations Quote Link to comment

crelf
One wrong move and you might end up deleting a whole day's work. So it needs a voice recognition component - whenever the user says "oh crap!" it automatically envokes an undo Quote Link to comment

Add these two with the fact that NI has a patent on the idea of 3D graphical programming and I'd say they've had this in their sites for some time. Ah, to be a fly on the wall of LV R&D...
