Yair Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 QUOTE(jpdrolet @ Oct 6 2007, 07:29 PM) Is that Christopher Walken? As Chris said, indeed it is. I must say I always liked the Fatboy Slim videos. For example, there was one which was simply stuff blowing up in slow motion, including stuffed cats (how I miss Monty Python ). had a bunch of people doing a weird dance. Quote

Michael Aivaliotis Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 That's mean Chris. That freakin' video's on a loop... Of course the population keeps decreasing, so it kinda gives you some hope that it will end somewhere... Quote

I'll freely admit that I'm not familiar with Fatboy Slim. But I did find one interesting reference in the lyrics... "If you walk without rhythm, you won't attract the worm." Straight out of Frank herbert's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_(novel)' target="_blank">Dune. Quote

Then again, I'm not a big fan of Dune and I never really listened to the lyrics. That is highly reminiscent of Terry Giliam's animations (except he also used to move the different parts of the bodies). Quote

Yair Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 QUOTE(crelf @ Oct 10 2007, 01:19 AM) Ask and ye shall receive I don't remember seeing that in the flying circus... Anyway, it actually reminded of me of what is probably http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hK_UsyM1Xu0' target="_blank">my favorite Python sketch. Quote
Yair Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 QUOTE(crelf @ Oct 10 2007, 09:31 PM) Here's mine: Somehow I'm not shocked... P.S. I just watched that ninja video again (I wasn't that concentrated before) and only noticed the play on words now ("flip out" - flipping the images is the major point in that video). P.P.S. For some reason they remind me of the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9GUpM3l2so' target="_blank">Scissor Sisters who've done several things I like. Warning - if you are the type of person who takes Pink Floyd too seriously do not click that link. :ninja: Quote
