crelf
QUOTE(deirdre @ Feb 4 2008, 12:32 PM) NI LabVIEW 8.5... [has] been named finalists in EDN's 18th Annual Innovation Awards. I'd be glad to - but what's innovative in 8.5 over last year's version? I'm not trying to be belligerent, but I'd actually like to know what qualifies it (and the other products that it's up against) for superior innovation? Quote Link to comment

Yair
Maybe it's just me, but having NI and Xilinx appear as sponsors (right side of the page) for something they are "competing" for makes this look like it's just some commercialized attempt to get attention for that site. The State Diagram Editor Toolkit is removed from the add-ons disc for LabVIEW 8.5 (nov-2007) So keep a copy! Ton Quote Link to comment

I don't know how it got there but its there and I am happy again (I thought I was going to have to go back to designing using Power Point). Ben Quote Link to comment

Ben I think you downloaded 8.5 the moment it came out (just to read the release notes), and you used an old CD set. This issue showed me it's meaningfull to keep the old sets in the archive, just in case!
