I know some of you have NXT kits AND cats... C'mon, you know you wanna.

Well, I don't want to say that I thought of it first... well, I did. Anyway, that's just because I'm Greek and of course the Greeks invented everything. In any case, tagging was released on the NI Forums recently: I was thinking of installing a tagging system on LAVA, before NI decided to release it on their forums, but decided not to because I don't find it useful myself. Perhaps I'm wrong and you all really want it. Well, do you?

There was an issue today with the LAVA RSS. There were bad characters in the feed causing it not to render in RSS readers. This is due to someone's display name using illegal characters. The user name was changed and this should eventually resolve itself as the feed refreshes. I tried re-caching the feed (since some of you will respond asking me to do that) but it didn't work. We just have to wait.

That's great, now stop spamming LAVA.

alfa, I am disappointed in you. I thought we had something special here. Don't you know that the NI forums are the dark side? They are evil. They track your IP address and have direct connection with those that want to silence you. Be warned, if you keep posting on the NI forums you will be in big trouble from the authorities. We want your voice to be heard so please don't do anything to jeopardize the message. Stop posting on the NI forums.

We already have a page here for getting started. Instead of linking to all those resources every time, just build up this start page and link to that. We should track which questions are repeating and create articles on this in the Wiki. Hey, Christmas is coming up and some of you will have some extra time on your hands...

QUOTE(tcplomp @ Dec 11 2007, 11:16 PM) This is an official notice form NI. I don't know how NI decides who to send these notices to, but I am subscribed to several NI newsletters and things so I'm not sure which one was used. http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/AEE74EFEF7D6CA4E862573A90000A628?OpenDocument' target="_blank">Here is the official page if you're in doubt.

Actually, this is old news. When I was in Mexico years ago, I saw a lot of cars driving around without doors. Perhaps they had one of those installed?

Secure Desktop
Michael Aivaliotis replied to gammalight's topic in Application Builder, Installers and code distribution
It sounds like the Secure Desktop app is preventing file access. Perhaps you can look at your secure desktop settings to se if You can allow LabVIEW access to the required files. -
On a side note, can you do an image capture from your TiVo? Just curious.

QUOTE(Yen @ Dec 5 2007, 07:45 AM) I'm not sure why you need the queue. It can be done without a queue.
