Well since there projects can be canceled every 6 months If it's on the Internet it must be true! Ton

Thanks Yes you will, I have created a snippet on Linux 8.2 and imported on Windows 2009 Shouldn't be too hard (yours to try), but the code is embedded inside a PNG tag as a saved VI, just open up and dump like a merge VI. Ton

Expanding the LAVA media embed feature
Ton Plomp replied to Michael Aivaliotis's topic in Site Feedback & Support
It would be nice if we could embed screencast video's. EDIT: I have openend a ticket with screencast/techsmith to get that info. Ton -
Here's a demonstration video with the new (2.0) features:<br/> <object width="360" height="554"> <param name="movie" value="http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/CCT2.0_controller.swf"></param>'>http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/CCT2.0_controller.swf"></param> <param name="quality" value="high"></param> <param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF"></param> <param name="flashVars" value="thumb=http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/FirstFrame.png&containerwidth=360&containerheight=554&showstartscreen=true&showendscreen=true&loop=false&autostart=false&color=1A1A1A,1A1A1A&thumb=FirstFrame.png&thumbscale=45&content=http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/CCT2.0.mp4"></param> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param> <param name="scale" value="showall"></param> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param> <param name="base" value="http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/"></param>'>http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/"></param> <embed src="http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/CCT2.0_controller.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" width="360" height="554" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" flashVars="thumb=http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/FirstFrame.png&containerwidth=360&containerheight=554&showstartscreen=true&showendscreen=true&loop=false&autostart=false&color=1A1A1A,1A1A1A&thumb=FirstFrame.png&thumbscale=45&content=http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/CCT2.0.mp4" allowFullScreen="true" base="http://content.screencast.com/users/TonPlomp/folders/Default/media/4a988906-a72a-41f4-a978-35e68c0f2d20/" scale="showall"></embed> </object>

Hi Alex, in what order do you want to happen the while loops. Jcarmody showed how to control the order. However if you don't use any of his techniques the while loops will run in parallel. Ton

Version 2.0.5 has been released fixing the 'error 7' bug. Ton

Run the attached VI.Openrwconfig.vi This will open the BD of the VI with the bug. Delete the input wire of the 'Open Config VI.' The next release will have this fixed. Ton

I was able to replicate the problem you have (on XP) Trying to debug... Ton

Could you run the Install Code Capture Tool.vi on 8.2? I have tested the OGP file on Vista for all versions I currently have (7.0-2009) Will try to check that later. I will sent you an edited version privatly. Ton

Your question is not unclear, the solution is quite easy, you should use a property node with the 'Value(signalling)' property, this will activate the event case. However I advise you to take a different framework either use a User Event or a Queued Message Handler or the JKI State Machine toolki. Ton
-
Hi jcarmody, what OS are you on? Do you have read/write privileges on your LabVIEW data folder? Especially the Code Capture Tool.ini file? Ton

I will be the second, Ton

On the portal page, the Latest Code Repository does not list the CCT 2.0, updated yesterday. Ton

JKI State Machine Sub States
Ton Plomp replied to jgcode's topic in Application Design & Architecture
Wouldn't it work to set the main state case to: '---------------UI------------, UI: .. UI:z' ? No need for an extra VI. Ton -
Sorry to be nitpicking, but I think yo get a much greater audience on dedicated computer hardware discussion site (superuser.com comes to mind) Oh and perhaps you need to reactivate your OS. Ton

I decided to go for Mantis. Based on the following reasons: I have a wiki running based on Mindtouch, this wiki has an extension where it can list the open issues for a given Mantis project. The wiki has an extension for Subversion (recent checkins in a path). I can integrate Subversion with Mantis, meaning that if I use (Tortoise) Subversion's possibility to link to a specific issue the checkin will be added as a 'note' to the Mantis issue. Even more, if I add a comment 'Fixed #3' issue 3 will be closed automagically. Ton

how to create VI to see the topology layout
Ton Plomp replied to getpiyush19's topic in User Interface
I assume the add is the actual address of the sensor? If so create an array of all the received addresses (as string) and use this as a lookup table for the actual data array. Ton -
Short cut creation with arbitrary keys
Ton Plomp replied to Michael's topic in Application Design & Architecture
Or look for Key-down? events on the VI and look at the plat mods to see if the CTRL key is pressed. If so discard the key-down and perform the action you need. Ton -
Drag and Drop from MCListbox
Ton Plomp replied to Michael's topic in Application Design & Architecture
For listboxes (multicolumn as well) there is a method to convert coordinates into a cell location: That should help you. Ton -
First things first, M-series are not a platform, they area DAQ instrument. Real-time (or better determinism) is limited by the operating OS. So see if the computer you want to use can run LabVIEW RT. Ton

One advise: Create a seperate LabVIEW Data folder for each LabVIEW version you have installed. I have seen recompile of custom probes in newer versions of older version, so the first thing I do after installing LabVIEW is defining a specific LabVIEW Data folder. Ton

I have once posted an XControl that is embedded on a VI, and contains a subpanel. Ton
