I use VMWare now too, but if the trial 1-year-license is out, I want to install the virtual box from innotek http://www.virtualbox.org/ its free. Is the one from microsoft really good?

Really? And why not in LV 8.0? I need more Information about it.
Why the support of texture depends from LV version? OpenGL should support textures undependly of the version of programming language. Don't it?
Thanks, Eugen
I knew of them what you wrote, but why Windows don't give a NOP functionality, how in uCs. I don't want to wait any determenistic time, but less than 1 ms without 100% CPU load.

Should I ask Bill Gates?
I can't answer, I don't use any variables in my VIs. I think it's the wrong way to exchange data between VIs in LV.
And by using queues or notifiers you have a realy important feature: it's triggering of tasks.
Eugen
You can ask position and bounds of the parent window and place your SubVIs in this Array or use SubPanel, how i2dx just told.
I personally find windows more usefull than SubPanel, because the user can move, resize and hide it.

I think you have to use the feedback node or shift register to solve your problem. If the input depends from output you can't solve it without feedback.
Eugen
And, if you want, you can use this VIs to run, start, set values and stop tasks (undependly running threads) http://forums.lavag.org/index.php?s=&s...ost&p=25858

For data transfer you can use:
globals
functional globals
notifiers
user events
queues
look help for it.

If I sort the member list by profile views I am on the first page, but only about 40 posts written and only since one month registered in this forum. Why ?!? Nice avatar or what?
Eugen
I use this one to create a INI file in application data folder. Sorry no VI available at the moment.
http://forums.lavag.org/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=5165
And this multitasking VIs to start a list of tasks, set values, stop tasks and open FP and bring to front.

Hello,
I want to analyse amplitudes over frequencies, but my signal is not equidistant over time. I have so two arrays, one with values and one with time stamps. Any examples?
Thanks, Eugen
