Jim Kring
Happy Birthday to Jim Kring who turns the big 30 today!! We'd all like to thank Jim for his enormous contributions to the LabVIEW community including the founding of OpenG. Keep up the good work Jim and may you enjoy many more years of LabVIEW development time... Thanks, Michael. But actually I am only "e"teen years old (that's 0x1E, as I prefer to use the hexidecimal system for keeping track of my age ) Quote Link to comment
Phillip Brooks
I wish I was 30 again! That's the time in my life when I met my wife, travelled around the world (work and pleasure) and was driving a nice car. Now I'm buying a "real" house (my "townhouse" is just an apartment with equity ), commuting 2+ hours a day and choosing a lawn mower. Best wishes and a very Happy Birthday! Quote Link to comment
Mike Ashe
Happy birthday and congrats to Jim. Welcome to the ranks of: those who can no longer be trusted. Not so sure I'd want to go back to 30, I was still 2-3 years away from getting to use LabVIEW on my first project. Quote Link to comment
crelf
...and choosing a lawn mower. I always figured that was the ultimate sign of becomming mature: buying a lawn mower. Thankfully, I'm not there yet Quote Link to comment

I tried sweetbread, which was great until I found out that it wasn't sweet or bread. Quote Link to comment

Mike Ashe
Sounds like it's Scottish cousin haggis... Well, hopefully Jim got it served with the Black Butter. As for the Haggis, I managed to avoid it when I was in Scotland a couple of decades ago, being to busy stuffing myself with the fish & chips (of course with the salt & malt) and washing it down with Strongbow or other suitable cider. Mmmm, those were the days. As for Haggis, see Wild Haggis for the real deal, except don't believe the 3 legged bit, they actually have six, three on each side... Quote Link to comment
