It's that time of year again. What will the next installment of the LAVA BBQ bring? One thing is for sure - door prizes galore!

Past prizes have included (just to name a few): home-made creations, gift-cards, tablets, books, IPods, LabVIEW goodness, software, bottles of Truchard wine, Ardunios, Zunes, copies of VIPM, Symbio GOOP Development Suite licenses, signed books and even a few plane rides (yes, you read that right).

Be creative! By donating a prize you and your company will receive free advertising in this thread and bragging rights on the night, so what are you waiting for? Check out the cool prizes below (knowing there will be more added to this thread as NIWeek approaches), and try to top them. If you would like to donate (please do, we really appreciate the LAVA-love) feel free to add a prize below with the details.

Following tradition, Delacor got a signed LabVIEW book. This year is Effective LabVIEW Programming.

For a preview of the contents take a look at the book's web page, http://www.ntspress.com/publications/effective-labview-programming/

It's expected to be published by the end of July.

Rumor has it that Tom Bress will be at the LAVA BBQ, so he might be able to add a more personalized message then.

See you at the LAVA BBQ,

Fab

Maybe someone in Austin wins it and *I* am lucky!

(Psstt -- split it with you, fellow Austinite, if you want to double our chances of winning some BBQ!)

On second thought... sad times... as one of the organizers I'm disqualified from being in the drawing :-(

I love books! So I am throwing in a $100 Amazon voucher

Go get some knowledge, son

Cheers to Mr Dunaway for helping with this!

Special thank you to Jon at JGCode in Australia for sponsoring this gift even though he is unable to come to NIWeek this year. It's very generous, and we're glad to have him a part of the LabVIEW community.

Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments.

Ni also has created a free toolkit for LabVIEW to interface with the Arduino.
If you want to see LabVIEW running Arduino in action check out this video from VI Shots
