TimVargo Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Bought my ticket this morning (under the wire for early-bird pricing). I also invited 5 co-workers who will also be attending this year (three of them for the first time, I think) who knew nothing of this. See you there!
Michael Aivaliotis Posted July 24, 2015 Author Report Posted July 24, 2015 Still looking for more door prizes. Please post here if your company will offer a door prize.

johnny icon Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) Bolder Software will be in attendance again this year, we're looking forward to it! Traditionally, we like to encourage creativity as much as the technical appetite of this audience. Our door prize will be the LEAP Motion Controller: http://www.leapmotion.com/product/desktop Also, if we can get it done by next week, we're hoping to bring something edible for everyone. (Not that kind, just some sugar cookies!) Edited July 28, 2015 by johnny icon 1
Popular Post CRoebuck Posted July 29, 2015 Popular Post Report Posted July 29, 2015 For the 2015 LAVA BBQ, Delacor have teamed up with author, friend of Delacor and all round outstanding guy; Steve Watts at SSDC to offer a truly unique door prize. Steve has kindly signed a copy of his book "A Software Engineering Approach to LabVIEW" but not only that. Steve has included the draft / amended pages that would have gone into any potential future second edition of his book. These are the only copies of these pages anywhere in the world and you as a LAVA member can have a chance to win them (and the signed book itself) 3

eberaud Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 I'm in I will be sure to record it for those that can't make it this year. I'll be at NI Week but obviously can't attend all the sessions I'd like to attend. Do you already know which sessions you are going to record? That way I guess I can attend the ones you don't record and watch the other ones after the NI Week. Is that a wise strategy? Thanks!
hooovahh Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 Is that a wise strategy? Sorta. Mark does this out of the kindness of his heart, and his enthusiasm for the community. Things happen and he might not be able to record a session, or the camera might break, or a presenter might ask him not to. There are reasons Mark might not be able to record and upload the sessions and I think having him publicly state which sessions he is going to attend might be unfair to him. That being said I sure hope Mark is able to record some of the sessions I can't go to. As usual there are a bit too many I want to go to on Thursday, and other days are lighter. If you do meet Mark, be sure and buy him a beer at the BBQ or some other event, he deserves it. 1
Justin Goeres Posted August 1, 2015 Report Posted August 1, 2015 I'm pleased to donate, on behalf of myself, a $50 Gift Certificate to ThinkGeek.com. After all the BBQ has given me, the least I can do is give a little something back . What will you buy with it? Maybe you're feeling classy. Or retro. Or snuggly. Or you know what? Who even cares. You'll find something. 2

Thank you Mark no matter what! I'm also planning to pass my CLD, so I need to remove even more sessions in my list, tricky tricky tricky...
