orko Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 QUOTE (jpdrolet @ May 28 2008, 05:36 PM) The joy of scripting. I understood how you were advancing the sequence, but it took a little bit for me to realize how you were "moving" the main deco around (because you weren't) Pretty cool! Now to animate http://forums.lavag.org/LAVA-NIWeek-T-Shirt-Design-Contest-t10793.html&view=findpost&p=46305' target="_blank">Michael's masterpiece... Yair Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 And what's nice is that the sequence structure is actually designed to look like film. Quote

Gabi1 Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Very cool! great creativity Could be a great tric to confuse those who wants to look at the code, without knowing enough LV: They would run it with open diagram to see... the actual horse(power) in the engine! Quote
JiMM Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 That's the first VI that I have seen people praise someone for their use of a stacked sequence structure  Nicely done. Quote

jcarmody Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 The joy of scripting. Does anybody have this file? I recall seeing it a long time ago and I want it again. Thanks, Jim Quote
Sparkette Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 Does anybody have this file? I recall seeing it a long time ago and I want it again. Thanks, Jim I imagine it was something like this. (warning: uses a private method to keep it in one VI, and in a manner I doubt was intended, so it might crash under certain circumstances. I feel it's fine in this case since this is just for fun, and nothing critical.) animation.vi Quote
Sparkette Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 Actually, turns out that particular scripting action works even when the VI is running, so I didn't need to use Fake Exec State. Here's one that's 100% safe to use. animation.vi Quote
