Is there any chance of not having it visible unless it actually has some content in it? I promise to try and behave and as long as it's empty, it's annoying visual noise.
I've turned off the display of the warn status bar for all members except administrators.

Try using the + on them, like +cant +touch +this

Known issues that will be resolved with next forum release.

No, sorry.

Thanks for the great news Kurt. If you don't mind. Why the decision?

But I have an other chat-server already online. Everybody can test this older chat version live and online.
Link? Software?

In the "Today's top posters" list, what's the definition of "today"? It seems to be counting yesterdays posts too.
last 24 hrs I think.

Unfortunately the links don't work anymore. Anyone have any ideas?
I just fixed the links.

I found the attachment and updated the original Network Queue topic.

The attachment VI is not available?
The link is fixed now.

Thanks for the heads up! BTW, upgrade to Firefox 3.5. You're out of date already.

Is this what you're talking about?
It refers to an attached file, but I don't see one. Michael, did attachments not port from LAVA 1.0?
Most of them did. It looks like this one fell through the cracks. I have all the files and I have a manual way of associating them to the original post, but it takes some effort. If anyone has a copy on their computer then please attach it to that thread. I will look later to see if I can find the file.

...Maybe some of the mystery will fade at the LAVA BBQ though...
Trust me, once you take a look at Crelf the mystery will fade immediately.

Mike,
STFF man! (search the freaking forum)
Someone came up w/ a very similar way as REx to use queues over a network or at least that's what I found on lava search.
>8^}>
Well, last time, you were on here telling everyone how LAVA search sucks! So now you're telling me to use the LAVA search? make up your mind!

You can also use network queues. Network queue have a TCP/IP wrapper around native LabVIEW queues which allow you to pass data between two applications. You can even pass data between two machines.
Sorry, where in my LabVIEW palette is this? Or do you mean network shared variables?

I'm trying to get over the 100 mark too, my goal is to get there before NI Week. Getting close...
Another goal should be to get an avatar and a profile picture.

...And the single biggest time sink that I had is being worked on by an intern even as we speak. ;-)
You were being worked on by who?

This issue is now resolved. RSS shows all posts and includes the author name.

Ton, IPS is asking you to do one thing to see if this fixes the popup issue. I will quote them:
One thing, can you ask them to go to their My Settings and just click save at the bottom of that and see if that corrects it?So, can you try this and let me know?

I've reported this bug to IPS.
IPS is going to file this as a bug, however, they are claiming that Jim might be the only one with this problem. So I'd like to get more feedback on this from the rest of the members. Is anyone else having problems jumping to the latest unread post similar to what Jim is experiencing? If so, what browser and version are you using?

I love your avatar! Thanks for the hard work to everyone involved in restoring LAVA - we couldn't do without it.

This reminds me of those posts we used to get on LAVA regarding doing DAQ with the parallel port. Win98? Modula-2? Give me a break! If you can't afford the equipment needed to test a device you're manufacturing then I would re-evaluate your business plan...
