    Help me

Oh and while you are doing LuLu's homework Could you help me to build a system that monitors every train that passes by on a track (weight, speed, type, number of people carried, temperature, pH, Mood of the driver, coffee spill on the floor, number of non-paying commuters, number of loud-noise MP3 devices, and everyone's credit card details) LuLu if you don't want to do the homework, quite school Ton

  9. It get's even freakier, if you scroll the chart off-screen it will always error... It has nothing to do with the tab. I've gathered some statistics: On the horizontal axis you see the index, the y-axis shows the number of erros/non-errors. In red the errors and with white squares the non-errors. In the left-upper hand I had half of the plot visible, upper right the full plot visible, lower left none of the plot visible (scrolled off-screen) Strange. Ton On winXP and LabVIEW 8.5
  10. QUOTE(sahara agrasen @ Oct 27 2007, 08:35 PM) Sahara, could you add your code? Ton (I could make up 0x20 ways to get this error)
  11. Here's the long run: Create a Tool VI that: finds the center of the current selected wire, get the datatype, drop a system label with the correct make-up. Ton Warning it's already saturday night here

  14. QUOTE(BrokenArrow @ Oct 27 2007, 07:11 PM) Not to nag you, but you know you can create a description for a wire, and see that in the Help window? But your idea sounds good, and it shouldn't be too hard to code it. Ton
  15. QUOTE(Vladimir Drzik @ Oct 26 2007, 08:57 AM) Works for me (LV 8.5 and WinXP Pro) on labels and free labels. I think editing text is a feature from the OS. Ton

  22. QUOTE(tushar @ Oct 22 2007, 10:40 AM) And http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=279433&jump=true' target="_blank">cross-posted to the NI forums. Tushar, could you give us an update (or a code-part)? Ton
  23. QUOTE(JDave @ Oct 22 2007, 08:02 PM) No I ran a VI (By Ref) if another VI was activated QUOTE The code you uploaded has a single picture control. Were you evisioning having a single XControl to replace the picture control, or an array of buttons that are each XControls? Up until now I have viewed XControls as helpful if you have a complex FP object that you want to use in several situations. It encapsulates the functionality so you can replicate it else where. I have not dabbled in XControls at all, so could you please help me see how they would be beneficial here? What I did was having for every Event a special VI that I ran by-ref. I had quite some problems with typedeffing VIs. This would not be simplified with XControls, but it's something that better suits me right now. I would have an XControl for every button, and maybe one XControl for every bar. Ton
  24. Good thing! Michael could you add this forum to the RSS feed as well? Ton
