Xcontrol indicator blink

I am building an Xcontrol with several Boolean indicators. I need the ability to blink each one independently.

I have tried several things and nothing will blink the individual indicators, just the entire control.

 

Does anyone know how to make this work?

What exactly have you tried? Without code it's hard to say.

Have tried to blink one of the booleans? Or re they in an array? If so I doubt if it's even possible.

You have some independent VI that the XControl spins up that controlls the blink rate of each LED. In this case, it is blinking all the LEDs in a particular pattern, but you could easily have them blink independently.

You can set the blinking property, but an XControl's facade does not run continuously. If you update your XControl blinking property enough times, you may notice that the Boolean appears true and other times false. It is not a bug in your code, but rather a timing issue between the blink and when the XControl stops running. 

The behavior of an XControl is more like a VI in a frameless subpanel than a native LV control. When you set the value or a property of an XControl, LabVIEW will configure the underlying parameters and then perform a Run VI.
