  1. Chris, as I'm the guy who created the original "master" button, I think I can help out a little... I'm not going to give away the secret just yet. I find it interesting to see everyone trying to figure it out. You are so very close with the decal concept, however, as you can see, when you click on the image, it doesn't shift down and to the right as in VIPM. Keep trying

  4. In LabVIEW 8.2, when you are using the wiring tool and hover over a node terminal, the terminal highlights but it does not flash. Was this changed on purpose? Not sure if this is good or bad, just different.
  5. Is there any way to set a property on a project folder in such a way that it is synced automatically to a physical hard drive folder? This way, when you add stuff into the hard drive folder it automatically appears in the project view? This is in the project explorer of 8.20.
  6. I'd like to change the palette that shows up first when I right-click on my diagram. Is this possible? If so, how? Specifically, I'd like to set the programming palette as the root palette. I'm using LV8.20
  7. Can't understand how that works. Can you attach the code or give some more details? I mean what class is that?
  8. The 8.20 exe builder allows setting of a version number. Is there any way to access this programmatically within a built app? I tried the App version property but it returns the LV version.

  17. I just spent the last hour or so watching as much Barbie Girl video lip sync videos as I could. I'm all Barbie'd out... These two girls from Germany are my favorite. <embed style="width:400px; height:326px;" id="VideoPlayback" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=5142595364409427415&hl=en"> </embed> Here is the whole lot: Barbie Girl by Aqua Lip Sync Video's on Google Video
  18. Ya, I ran the sub because I was trying to figure out the issue. I down-converted your code to 7.1.1 and could not observ what you describe. This makes sense really. I don't recall ever getting an error because a front panel is not open (but in memory). Are you sure about this error in 7.1? Perhaps you got the error in an executable that had its' panel removed?Download File:post-2-1157553136.llb (LV7.1.1)
  19. So I ran the CtlRefDebug-Sub.vi by itself and removed all of the others from memory. I got an error 1055. So what's the issue?
