  1. Mikael, It doesn't work for me. I get an empty string when I probe RCF_EventSort_OCR.vi Are there any special requirements? Thanks, Jim
  2. There's a thread on NI's forum dedicated to this, and upconverting.
  3. LcNumber_CompareDoubleValues.vi is missing. It's from <userlib>:\Optium_LabVIEWCommon\ Can you provide it?
  4. Let me be the first to hit that little green "plus" sign.
  5. finished three software projects in the last two weeks. Is it absolutely necessary to work >12 hours/day in order to finish something?

God has granted me the sobriety to change the things I cannot accept.

That when I reply that "want implies desire and I have no desire to work overtime."

Shaun - you're right, and I am working toward making production processes more robust; I'm also training the operators & line-leads to be more self-sufficient.

Ben - I desire to finish projects as that's how I'll keep (and advance in) my job. As my skills improve I'll finish more in less time. As it is, my four years of Test Engineering experience are being measured against my colleagues with over twenty years each.

  6. The Frame Duration went from 10 to 1380. I'm running LabVIEW 2010 (32 bit) in Windows XP.
  7. I'm not sure I completely understand your requirement, but it sounds like you could use a notifier (or queue) to send the response limit from the sub VI to the master. This is the sub VI. This is the master. subVI.vi masterVI.vi
  8. Even paranoid people have enemies. Besides, perfect paranoia is perfect awareness.
  9. From the release notes: I did this, earlier this week: Thanks for the new release.
  10. I saw where your status says you've accomplished this. Please show us how you did it.
  11. You're right, but the start index is correct and you can just add one to the length.
  12. There's a thread on NI's forum about cutting holes through front panels. You might be able to implement your idea following that example. The BD password is "simple".
  13. Please read this and this. You'll be further along the way to a solution once you have.
  14. Here's a really rough start showing how to find your "thin patches"; you can work out the start and length from the Array of integers (or, build that as you go in the For Loop).
  15. Yes. I saw this conversation on the NI LabVIEW forum that might help you.
  16. It worked for me. Did you wire the VI name with a String or Path datatype? I used String.
  17. Smartphones? We don't need no stinkin' smartphones!
  18. Now that's an understatement. Not at work. My company isn't as cool as some others.

  20. I've never noticed this before. Is it something that this site provides or does Google determine what shows up there?
