  1. I think It's in Omar's slide deck from niweek: http://blog.jki.net/events/niweek-2011-five-clever-debugging-techniques-slides-and-code-now-available/
  2. I don't think this feature exists. But you ca easily see the whole thread right above your reply so not sure how it would help.
  3. An easy way to browse the class (parent child) relationships is to go to the menu: View>LabVIEW Class Hierarchy
  4. If you had an avatar that got blown away with the upgrade, no worries. Click here to download them all. I'm sure yours is in there.
  5. One thing you can do is come up with defined status labels. For example: Under Review Review Ended etc. Then you can put these as tags in the OP. Then you can use that tag as a prefix. Tagging is a new LAVA feature BTW.
  6. It's basically a threshold that I can configure. The number of "likes" basically.
  7. New site, new posts. Let's look forward into the future, not the past. Of course we have learned from our mistakes and are smarter for it. The blogs will be featured in the navbar and there are several entry points in the forums where you will interact with them. Also, people can comment on your posts and discuss like in the forums. I'll look at turning it on soon and you can try them out.
  8. If a page linking these should be created then I suggest one be created on labviewwiki.org.
  9. Ton, I would love to open up the Blogs. I think tis feature was set hidden because of lack of interest from users. However, the feature is still there but is disabled. How many of you are interested in blogging on LAVA?
  10. You can set the default child data in the class data control. So then that data will be used when placing the object constant. Of course this data can only be set at edit time. But I assume this is what you want.
  11. I've decided to try a new improvement on the LAVA reputation system. You can still give positive reputation points to individual posts. This has not changed, however now It is called a "Like" and your name shows below the post to indicate you like it. I think this is a better way to show support and encouragement to a user's post and increases networking between community members. I "like" it!
  12. I don't know what to tell ya. But in IMO, if you click on the title or the last unread link then you should just read the remaining thread. The page delimitation is just an arbitrary delineation. If you don't want to read it then don't click on the thread. What if it was just one long single page, then what part of the thread is considered unread? In any case here's a link to the initial release notes. And the subsequent bug fix release. If you want to post this directly to their bug tracker go here. Not sure if you can do this if you're not a customer but give it a shot.
  13. Not true. You can do what you want with the new Unread Contents page. Just click on the date you desire on the left. You will then see all your items. They will never go away. You can preview read each item (without setting the read flag) by clicking the little arrow next to each post title. Any items you have already read will have the light grey background. It's pretty nice.
  14. It works very well. Try it out. There's no way to switch it off for Android tablets, or even by screen size. They have a switch for iPads only. So in general, It seems everyone is happy with the new design and features?
  15. What large devices in specific are you referring to?
  16. I flipped a switch. Can you check if it loads the mobile theme on Android now?
  17. It does exist. You don't really need an app. I'll look into fixing this. Not sure why this is happening.
  18. I love the new Unread Content page! It is very functional and once you get used to it, you'll find it better than the old portal page.
  19. From the left: Justin, Darren, Chris and Jim. Notice Justin holding (and eating) his veggie-burger.
  20. See attached image. You have to click on the dot next to the post title.
  21. I disagree. Are you using the mobile theme?
